We provide support to Engineering Colleges and other academic institutions  to undertake short/long term projects in the areas of climate change assessments, disaster risk reduction, carbon emissions, carbon foot prints and energy efficiency using the latest technologies, products, tools, software, and decision support systems.

A key component of our programmes  is to ensure involvement of  local stakeholders both from the community level and from the administrative side.

We offer our support to educational institutions to design, develop, guide and implement

a.    Socially  relevant, hands on student projects related to our area of expertise.

b.    Faculty enrichment  through industry/community linked research projects and

c.    Institutional  development  programs like smart and climate resilient campuses, developing institutional disaster management plans, etc.

Through this initiative we support educational institutions to prepare socially relevant and community oriented project proposals that would also provide the institute with a strong community connect and would enhances its social responsibility.

We are currently aiding the SNMIMT Engineering college, Maliyankara, Ernakulam to undertake a Flood Inundation Mapping of the Puthenvelikkara GP as part of their student projects.

The students learn and gain technical experience, develop social responsibility and become aware of the historical, geographical and socio-cultural setting of which they are a part of.

The community and LSG learn to address the novel challenges of climate change through decentralised efforts and location-based interventions
EQUINOCT facilitates the process through providing technical assistance and ensuring community involvement in the process.
