A renewable energy suite introduced in Phase 1 supports coastal women entrepreneurs by reducing energy costs, lowering emissions, and strengthening sustainable, climate-resilient livelihoods.

Overview

As part of Phase 1 of the CRE Hub Project in partnership with IEEE Smart Village, a suite of renewable energy-powered equipments were procured to support sustainable livelihoods, enable energy transition, enhance local resilience and empower coastal women entrepreneurs. These systems reduce energy costs, lower emissions, and support sustainable livelihoods.

Solar Cold Storage

Enables safe, off-grid storage of perishables like fish, fruits, and vegetables, effectively reducing post-harvest loss and improving income for producers.
